218: How to Receive and Respond to Feedback

How do you handle receiving feedback from others, especially if it feels negative? In this episode, I’m sharing five steps to take when you receive feedback, and how to work through and respond to it.

 

We’ll cover:

  • What it means to consider the source

  • How to listen well to the person sharing the feedback

  • When you should act on feedback, and how to know if action is needed

  • Specific feedback we have received about our program, and how we are responding to make it even better

 

I’ll also share my personal experience with receiving feedback, and how it changed things for me both personally and professionally. Receiving feedback is one of the best ways we can grow and improve, so I hope this episode helps you know how to both receive and respond to feedback in a healthy way.
